Some of you might be wondering why I would discuss ways to save on Christmas so soon after the holiday has passed. I find some of the best deals for the holidays and the gift closet during the post-holiday time period. I also love to shop clearance sales through the year to find gifts for Christmas.
Just last week I was able to buy over $100 worth of stocking stuffers, gifts and other Christmas items at Toys R US for only $15. I did use a $10 ToysRus reward certificate from the Christmas promotion to bring my total down, but I found some amazing items like ornaments, a recordable Christmas book, Christmas stocking stuffers and wrapping paper all for 75% off. Some of the items will make great craft projects for my kids throughout the year, while others will go into my gift closet for next year.
