This week Albertsons has been running their coupon round up promotion where all coupons valued less than $1 are rounded up to $1. I love that there is no limit to the number of coupons that you can use and you do not need to have separate transactions.
In the past, I have not had as much success with the coupon round up as I have with double coupon deals, but I did want to share a few of my finds with week. Remember that this promotion will run through tomorrow January 31st.
After the busy holiday season, I looked in my pantry and discovered that I was getting low on cereal. When I combined the buy select cereal for only $1.88 when you buy 5 deal, with the coupon round up I was able to buy the Cinnamon Toast Crunch for only $.88 per box.
Rosarita Refried beans where on the buy 10 items promotion for only $.99 each.
- I bought 9 cans of 16 oz Rosarita spicy refried beans at $1.49 each
- I used (3) $.50 off when you buy three cans from Smart Source 01/22/12 (Expires 03/04/12) rounded up to $1
- I bought 1 2 liter of Pepsi
- Saved $5 instantly when I bought 10 items
I paid $.66 per can of beans and $.99 for the 2 liter of Pepsi.
I had planned to buy Super Pretzels on sale for $2 and planned to use the $.50 off coupon to pay only $1 for each pack, but they were out of stock.
I had also planned to by the French's Yellow Mustard for on sale for $1.50 and use the $.30 off coupon which rounds up to $1.00 to get mustard for only $.50, but they were also out of stock of the mustard. I am going to check back for these deals.
