I've noticed that Coinstar machines have a slot for accepting bills. I've wondered with this promotion if just using bills might work. I know that it says that you are to use coins, but the machine doesn't care whether you use dimes, nickels or quarters. Does it really care if you use bills?
In the past, I've gone to the bank to change bills into coins just so I could use them in the Coinstar machine. I'd sure like to save myself that trouble.
No way to know for sure until someone tries it.
